St Wilfrid's Football Success!!
An excellent afternoon of football saw St Wilfrid's come out on top of the local primary school competition. With four local schools in attendance and four year groups involved from each school, excitement amongst the children was fever pitch.
The competition kicked-off in a good spirit and St Wilfrid's demonstrated determination and a wonderful team spirit throughout the afternoon. The event was well organised by Matt Coad and his team and the results were eagerly awaited by all of the teams involved. With all four year groups performing well, St Wilfrid's were crowned champions. All of the St Wilfrid's players were presented with medals and two eager players lifted the cup!
