School Meals

Our school meals, that meet the Government's new guidelines in Nutritional Standards, are cooked on the premises by our wonderful cook, Mrs Jones and her assistant, Mrs Gordon. This means

  • More fruit and vegetables - No less than two servings a day, one will be vegetables or salad. Fruit is available every day.
  • More oily fish - Oily fish such as mackerel or salmon will be served once every three weeks.
  • Bread - a different bread will be available every day.
  • Drinking water - Fresh drinking water is available over lunchtime.
Each week children are chosen to eat at the Golden Table for good attitudes and behaviour, a real honour! Mrs Jones organises themed days and competitions regularly.

Mealtimes are as follows:

Classes 1,2,3 - 12 -12.30pm

Classes 4,5: 12.30pm - 1pm

The price of a school meal is £2 for the first child or £10 per week. (£1.80 or £9 for subsequent children)

The latest menu is available as a download in the menu on the left.
